Dojo Cart will again be participating in the Wyoming Farmers’ Market. This will be our third season with the Market and we always enjoy slinging the good stuff with them. Stop by and say hello!
From the Market’s website:
Wyoming Farmers’ Market is a non-profit, producer-only, volunteer-run business committed to offering local, consumable products to our neighbors. Our Market carries organic and sustainably-raised fruits, vegetables, eggs and meats, and carefully produced cottage products. All products are produced with integrity and transparency. Our customers are locavores and local residents who like to build relationships with people who raise the food they serve to their families. Our farmers are located within 90 miles of the Market, and the cottage-produced products are made within 25 miles*.
May through October, Market hours are 3 pm – 7 pm, Tuesdays. We are conveniently located on Wyoming Ave. at Oak on the Village Green in downtown Wyoming.
We are excited to announce that we will be taking part in the 2012 season of Second Sunday on Main. Second Sunday on Main is an eclectic neighborhood festival, presented by the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce (of which Dojo has been a proud member since 2009).
Second Sunday on Main begins its seventh season on June 10 and continues through October 14th on the second Sunday of every month from Noon – 5 p.m. in historic Over-the-Rhine on Main Street between 13th and Liberty Street. The event is free and open to the public. Here is the schedule for this on going event:
Sunday, June 10th: Main St. Menagerie
Sunday, July 8th: Music on Main
Sunday, August 12th: Growth & Wellness
Sunday, September 9th: Dance on Main
Sunday, October 14th: Harvest Fest
Attention Musketeers! Dojo Cart will be slinging the good stuff tomorrow 12-3 PM at Xavier on the Greenspace as part of Xavier’s Earth Week celebration. See you there?
Dojo Cart will again be appearing at this year’s totally fun Over-the-Rhine Summer Celebration. The event starts with a 5k run/walk around Over-the-Rhine on Saturday morning and then transforms into one hell of a block party with local art, community and food vendors along with live music and brews. Par-tay! All proceeds benefit the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce. For more details check out www.gootr.org. See you there?
It’s time again for another Crafty Supermarket and Dojo Cart will be there slanging the good stuff. What better way to support your local creative community?
The Holiday Crafty Supermarket will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center. We’ll have more than 50 crafters, a live DJ from PROJECTMILL and delicious food from Dojo Gelato, Cafe de Wheels, Sweet Peace Bakery, La Terza Coffee and Picnic and Pantry.
Shopping for your holiday gifts at the mall and big box stores is lame. Go local and support independent small businesses.
Not only will Dojo Cart be at the Crafty Supermarket this Saturday, we also will be taking part in BuyCincy’s annual Cincinnati Unchained promotion. A portion of Dojo sales on November 20th will be donated to the Freestore Foodbank as part of the Unchained event.
Hurray for the holidays!
